the fear of being real with someone shouldn't exist.

the fear of someone finding out who you really are after being fake with them is a more sensible fear.

if you are always who you really are, you have all the security you could ever want. confidence in you is the only power you truly have. whether you have 1 friend or a billion, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a job, an education, money, blah blah blah.. you still have you, your personality, your beliefs, your little quirks, your right to be happy in every moment. and no matter who is with you, you remain in control of your own actions and attitude.

we forget this concept most of the time.. when we get nervous, and look down on ourselves, we pretty much psych ourselves out. if you think you're gonna ruin the night with your awkward ways, you will. if you think man, i got this.. throw the competition my way, i'll take them down, you will. It's all in the attitude, the confidence and the get-back-up agains. :)
